I phoned you on my iPhone

So today is the one week anniversary for my new iPhone, and I love it. The bill I’ll have to pay each month – well, I don’t love that much at all…

The Winter quarter at ITT has started, and so far, I think I’m going to like my classes. My schedule sucks (3 night classes on 3 different nights), but I think I can manage. I’m taking  intro courses in C++, XHTML, and Linux, so this should prove rather fun and actually useful in the future XD. I’ll have a two-week break for the holidays next week that I’m not sure how I will spend (will probably spend most of that time finishing Dragon Age), then it will be long haul to the end of the quarter. Just as an update on my progress – I got A’s in all three classes last quarter. Yeah for me!

Finally, in toku news: Kamen Rider Dragon Knight has been officially canceled by The CW due to low ratings. The last two episodes will air on the 4Kids website sometime after Christmas. I won’t say much else, as I plan to write a Toku Tuesday as a memorial to the Kamen Rider Ryuki adaption tonight to post for tomorrow. If you, like me, are a fan Dragon Knight, I think I speak for us all when I say that Kit and the other Riders of Ventara will be sorely missed. That show was an excellent piece of work (crappy acting from the supporting cast aside) and I hope that this (and Disney’s decision to re-air MMPR – a good thing mind you) doesn’t mean that tokusatsu in the States is dying a slow, agonizing death to be replaced by horrid anime wannabes from Europe.

Also, one more thing:

We have running water in our house now. After almost three months with a graveyard for a front yard – we now have improved water pressure and the ability to, well, use water.

That is all…

…for now.

I'm an otaku, avid gamer, and electronic "musician." I'm forever indulging in the amazingness that is Japanese tokusatsu.

  1. Niko says:

The acting in KRDK improved later on, once they got used to it. It had the making to be the start of a new toku franchise in America, but alas, it seems not to be so.
