Exercises of the Mind – Hyrule

I mentioned earlier this week that I’ve been writing a bit a of poetry lately. This is the reason I have a blog, to post the junk that comes out of my head, hoping that some folks out there find it interesting. So, here goes:

Pointy ears with a green tunic.
Go to work with some magic music.
Put a fairy in an empty bottle.
Iron boots on, take it to the bottom.
Get a sword, find and kill a chicken.
Take a dive and leave a Zora tripping.
Head on a swivel for the octoroks;
Shield ready for the steady block.
Stacking rupees like you’re selfish;
Rewind a moon, wake a Wind Fish.
Sail the sea on a king’s back;
Ride your pony or the Spirit Tracks.
Flying beetle or a magic wand,
Grapple hook or your trusty bombs,
Arrows of light, ice, and fire –
Game of thrones, time, and power.

Meet a Skull Kid in a tree maze.
Sipping weird potions, make a thizz face.
Minish Cap cocked to the side;
Hella swag cause you saving lives.
At the castle, meet the princess,
But you crush her long distance.
Search the world for the Triforce.
Smoke your enemy – pulled pork.
Hero of Seasons, and the Ages,
Clearing temples, saving Sages.
Between worlds, face on stone,
In the twilight going beast mode.
Meet your clone wearing all black,
Leave him dizzy with your spin attack.
Fierce Deity, you’re too cool.
Just another day – Hyrule.
