The X-Men film franchise helped prove that superheroes could work on the big screen. Despite two sub-par entries with The Last Stand and Origins: Wolverine, the latest entry in the franchise, simply titled The Wolverine, is really the film that Origins should have been – a solid, Wolverine-focused popcorn flick.

Late to the Party: Iron Man 3 Micro Review [SPOILERS]

I am a big fan of the Marvel “movieverse.” I was on board as soon as Marvel admitted to their plans to bring the Avengers to big screen in a unified cinematic universe. I thoroughly enjoyed Incredible Hulk, but Iron Man solidified my trust in what Marvel had envisioned. In fact, Iron Man has been the glue holding all of Marvel’s franchises together as Thor, Captain America, Hulk, and the Avengers have all been introduced or expounded upon between the first and last frames of the billionaire-playboy philanthropist’s solo outings. On the tails of the success that was The Avengers last summer, how does Tony Stark’s third adventure fair?
