Toku Tuesday: Kamen Rider Wizard Review

Kamen Rider Wizard logo

The fourteenth Heisei-Era Rider series, Kamen Rider Wizard began its run back in September of 2012, replacing Kamen Rider Fourze on the Super Hero Time programming block next to Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters. The series is magic themed. The riders (mainly Wizard and Beast) are referred to as mages and draw their power from magical energy generated from Phantoms locked within their bodies. Phantoms are born from the deep despair of humans with magical potential, known as Gates. It’s Wizard’s mission to protect humanity, especially the Gates, from the darkness of their hearts and the threat of the Phantoms.
